Officials: Account Activation and Onboarding Guide

Activate your BlueZebra Account

Go to to activate your account. Once there, enter your email address and click on "Send Account Activation Link."

You will receive an email with a link to create a password and a login to the site. It will look similar to this:

Click on the box that says "Setup Your Account." You will then be directed to enter your email address.

On the next screen, you will be directed to enter your password. Please note your password must be at least 12 characters.

After logging in to, we encourage you to take the "Welcome to BlueZebra" tour to learn the layout of the home page. To access the tour, click on the gray silhouette on the righthand side of the page. Then click on "Take the Tour."

*Enable 2FA (Two-factor Authentication) - This applies only to programs using the pay function of the BlueZebra platform

The very first task you need to complete is to enable 2FA within your account, while simultaneously downloading the free Twilio Authy authentication app to your cell phone. Two-factor authentication helps secure your online account by adding a second layer of protection to your password. We highly encourage you to read through these 2FA FAQs prior to performing 2FA.

Click here for step-by-step instructions on how to enable 2FA and to download the Twilio Authy app to your cell phone. Note: do not delete the Twilio Authy app from your cell phone as you will need it throughout the season, and beyond, to authenticate your account.

Complete Your Profile

Click on the gray silhouette on the righthand side of the page and then click on "Your Profile."

On the next screen, click on the blue "Edit My Profile" tab to complete your profile.

Next, edit your officiating profile by clicking on the blue "Edit My Officiating Profile" tab. Note that not all users will have this feature.

Provide Your W9 Information

Click on "Pay" on the lefthand side of your dashboard to enter your banking information and to submit your Form W-9.

Respectively, click the blue "Add Banking Info" tab to input your banking information, and click the blue "Submit Your W9" tab to input your Form W-9 information.

Sign Your Independent Contractor Agreement (if applicable)

Click "Sign Your Independent Contractor Agreement" and follow the instructions on the page to review and sign your agreement.

Calendar and Closed Dates (if applicable)

It is the official's responsibility to fill out and maintain their closed dates calendar.

To close dates, click on "Calendar."

Then click on the month in which you want to close out specific dates.

On the next screen, find the date you want to close out and click on the small white box next to the word "Closed." Note: Officials are required to add a note to every closed date.

Once you have have completed closing dates within the month you are currently viewing, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on the blue "Save Changes" tab.

Complete this process with each month as necessary.
